I've lost nearly 70 pounds and it's time to get serious about cleaning out my closet. My closet is stuffed with clothing from every since from 28 down to size 12. Each morning when I get ready for work it's a pain in the ass digging through a closet stuffed full of clothes that, for the most part, are either too big or too small. So I am purging.
Most of my clothes are kinda raggedy, if I am telling the truth. I tried to avoid buying clothes because I was always convinced I was going to lose weight and would be wasting my money. The end result is I would end up wearing the same few pieces over and over until they were completely worn out.
But as I work on my closet purge, I am finding a few pieces that have been lightly or never worn. I'm giving most of my decent stuff to charity, but I thought I'd also give some of it away on my blog. I am not sure how much I will have to give away or how often I will do it as I think the closet purge is going to take awhile.
I'm not sure how much interest there will be in this giveaway, so I'll start with one piece - this size 28 jacket from Lane Bryant.
It's never been worn, as evidenced by the tags and extra buttons still attached. Not sure what this looks like on your computer, but on mine the color is not done justice. What looks like sort of a weak sea green (on my screen anyway) is actually a beautiful, vibrant sky blue. If you are a blue-eyed gal and really want to make those peepers pop, this is the jacket for you! Although I'm sure it would look fabulous on lots of people. The color is truly beautiful.
I'm asking for nothing in return for the clothes I am going to give away. I just want to see someone get some use out of these clothes so they don't go to waste.
